If we each cared about the Earth a fraction of how much we care for our mothers, how different things might be… This video really moved me. It hit where it was meant to. It made me realise I want to make a difference in this world. I applied for Homeward Bound because I knew it would give me the skills and resources I needed to achieve this goal. Homeward Bound is a ground-breaking leadership initiative, set against the backdrop of Antarctica, which aims to heighten the influence and impact of women in making decisions that shape our planet. Homeward Bound is a 10 year long program that will unite 1000 women from around the world. This year, the 3rd cohort of participants comprises 80 women from 28 different countries who will participate in a 3-week expedition to Antarctica departing from Ushuaia, Argentina in December 2018. Throughout the year, the 2019 cohort will each receive coaching and training through programs centered around leadership development, strategic capability, personal visibility, science communication and collaboration.
